Warner Records' Ethan Gruska dropped his latest track “Event Horizon” today (11/15), the first from his forthcoming album En Garde. Set for release on 1/24, En Garde is Gruska’s second solo album.
Gruska has previously worked with artists such as Joshua Radin, Bad Brooks, John Legend, and Kimbra, among others, and is currently producing Fiona Apple, Manchester Orchestra, and Phoebe Bridgers, whose first album was also co-produced by him.
Coming from a family of musicians, Gruska is the grandson of John Williams and the son of Jay Gruska, both renowned composers. His sister Barbara Gruska is a drummer and is currently touring with the Foo Fighters as a backing vocalist. The two siblings also make up The Belle Brigade, an America vocal and instrumental duo.
Stream “Event Horizon” below and keep an eye out for En Garde in January.
