Ellis released new single “Keep Me Awake” on 11/1 via CloudKid Records. The London-based producer has been active in the past year, releasing original tracks and remixes. Success from the 20-year-old's remixed version of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” put him on the map—garnering 60m+ views on YouTube.
Ellis says “Keep Me Awake” is “a song about mental health in young people. It’s almost the journey of realization and confrontation with your own emotions.” While the track emanates dark and ambient vibes, the record transitions into a slightly unexpected funky electronic drop. Ellis is currently building both his online and live presence by traveling across Europe for club and festival slots.
