Neo-dreampop duo slenderbodies recently wrapped up their North American headlining tour with a sold-out show at L.A.’s Troubadour (10/23). They also released an acoustic rendition of their single, “senses.”
In support of their debut album, komorebi—released via Avant Garden/Island Records—band members Max Vehuni and Benji Cormack played a 17-date tour, selling out 12 of the shows.
The 11-track album, which dropped on 9/20, highlights the duo’s experimental style, featuring electric guitar loops and breathy vocals. With support from Complex, Consequence of Sound, and Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, the duo has been able to find their community of ride-or-die fans.
