Independent artist updog released his third single, “tired of my life,” last week. An amalgamation of electronic, R&B and alternative elements, “tired of my life,” weaves in hearty guitar riffs between short-but-captivating verses—and at just over two minutes in length, you can’t help but hit repeat.

“On the surface, this song is about being in a crippling, overbearing relationship where you feel like you can't escape,” says updog. “It's about recognizing that sometimes no matter how much you convince yourself that someone is great for you, they are actually destroying you.”

The anonymous songwriter previously released two other singles this year and with the help of promo network Cloudkid, tracks “hurt” and “goodbye” have garnered 551k+ streams altogether on Spotify alone. You can stream “tired of my life” below and keep an eye out for new music here.
