Scottish up-and-comer Aaron Smith released his debut single “Unspoken” on 7/19 via Platoon, the music development platform that was acquired by Apple in 2018. The emotional piano-driven track, which tackles the lack of communication in a relationship, landed on the #1 spot for both Apple Music UK's Best of the Week and Spotify UK New Music Friday.
The singer songwriter, who grew up in the small town of Polmont, some 50 miles outside of Glasgow, says, "I’m really looking forward to actually releasing my first bit of music now. It’s exciting to just be able to get it out there and have people listening to something I’ve made.” Smith plans to follow up the single with a debut EP this summer. Until then, watch the live video for “Unspoken” below.
