BY RANYA KHOURY

Singer/songwriter Cole Basta, aka Col3trane (TaP Records Limited/Geffen Records), is making waves in the music and fashion industries. His latest EP, Heroine, which dropped on 5/31, is a modern take on R&B and features collabs with Goldlink, RAYE and DJDS. In addition to his musical talents, Col3trane's heavy street-wear fashion has landed him spreads in GQ and V Magazine. The latter featured an exclusive video for his song, “Superpowers,” with Col3trane decked out head to toe in a futuristic collection by Moncler x Palm Angels.

The London-born-and-raised bedroom producer kickstarted his career by releasing music on Soundcloud. Since then, though, the TaP Management-repped artist has opened up for management mate Dua Lipa on tour. He's also played sets at Coachella with SG Lewis and FKJ, both of whom he has tracks with.

Col3trane recently finished his U.S. headline run, The Heroine in the Hills Tour, on Wesnesday (7/24) with his final show at L.A.'s The Echo. He opened with single "Heroine" and made sure to include fan favorites like "Superpowers” with GoldLink before wrapping up with "Penelope" for his encore. Performances pick back up in November for his U.K. tour, It’s Safer Inside—a full list of dates can be found here.
