UTA's Jbeau Lewis signed LANY over three years ago, with a distinct vision for the band off their Soundcloud success. The blueprint Jbeau followed has been to carefully develop the group, from booking their first club show to framing a tour strategy that has them selling out theaters throughout North America.
Lewis' mindful groundwork has paid off; LANY performed two nights at the Hollywood Palladium (capacity: 3,700) last Fall, both of which sold out considerably in advance. The band (managed by Rupert Lincoln at Hills Artist Management) have now kicked off the North American leg of their 2019 worldwide tour at The Fillmore in Miami, which will take them through a series of notable venues nationally, including Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, and the Greek (sold out five months ahead) and the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, among other destinations.
To celebrate the kick off of their North American run, the band—who have surpassed 1.8b cumulative streams across DSPs—released a new track with Julia Michaels, called “Okay.”
