WHAT IT IS: “Imported” w/6lack serves as the latest single from the Canadian/Colombian R&B singer/songwriter, who’s garnered more than half a billion global artist streams to date. The song arrives on the heels of her 2018 accomplishments, which include a gold certification for “Figures,” a sold-out 30-date tour and the fall release of her second EP, Being Human in Public, which gained widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike. She also celebrated numerous performances at world-renowned music festivals—e.g. Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, AFROPUNK, Made in America and Bonnaroo. Reyez’s writing credits include “One Kiss” (Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa) and “Promises” (Calvin Harris & Sam Smith).
