WHAT IT IS: Growing up in a small town outside of St. Louis, MO, the 17-year-old didn’t expect his covers on Instagram to eventually earn him more than 1m followers within a year. He’s now an aspiring pop singer/songwriter based in L.A., whose multifaceted range was highlighted in first original single “Used to Be,” which recently surpassed 30m+ streams. His debut EP, Hopeful, soon followed, broadening his sound and touching on various subjects that ranged from relationships to the burgeoning freedom of being young—all familiar to the charismatic teen.
