Singer/songwriter Cecilia Gault dropped her single, “Lunatic,” last Friday (2/15) via Chi Chi Sounds/Catchweight Entertainment. A follow-up to premier track “If You’re Gonna Lie,” “Lunatic” combines her sultry voice and harmonic melodies, truly highlighting her debut as a successful freshman artist. As a 20-year-old student at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Gault expresses herself through singing and songwriting, “weaving together pieces of [her] life to create a story.”
Featured as a vocalist and co-writer on Audien’s “Higher”—released on Anjunabeats—and, most recently, Kaskade’s “Love Me Like You Used To” (Arkade), Gault celebrated an impressive 2018. Fans can look forward to even more collaborations, and pen-related opportunities, in 2019.
Listen to “Lunatic” below and keep an eye out for her upcoming music video.
