WHAT IT IS: Vocalist/guitarist Max Kerman, guitarist Michael DeAngelis, bassist Nick Dika, drummer Tim Oxford and keyboardist Anthony Carone, collectively known as Arkells, have built an undeniable reputation as one of the most passionate, high-energy, live rock authorities working today. Recorded between pockets of touring, their new album aims to capture the unmistakable spirit and energy from their live show. Their previous cycle—for Morning Report and Canada’s most-played alt-rock song of the year, “Knocking at the Door”—included career-first TV appearances at the iHeartRadio MMVAs and NHL Awards, plus an unexpected viral trip to the 2018 Olympics in South Korea.
