WHAT IT IS: The 17-year-old singer-songwriter captivated America with each performance on Fox’s The Four. She showed off her versatility and ability to bend the R&B genre through song choice, making covers of Cardi B’s ”Bodak Yellow” and Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly” feel like her own. A favorite of judges DJ Khaled, Diddy and Meghan Trainor, Zhavia competed in the show’s finale on 2/8. Since then, she’s released tracks with Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump. Her first single, “Candlelight,” scored 10m+ YouTube streams in the
first month.
