WHAT IT IS: Latest album Seasons Change became McCreery’s fourth consecutive project to debut at #1 with sales of more than 40k, making it one of the top debuting country albums of the year. The Tennessean called the project an “intensely personal album.” And Rolling Stone wrote, “McCreery [is] proving his instrument is a singularly special bridge between the traditionalists and the pop-forward sectors of the genre.” The North Carolina native co-wrote all 11 songs on the project—a first for him. The lead single, “Five More Minutes,” became his first #1 hit and fourth platinum-certified song. Second single “This Is It” was inspired by the entertainer’s proposal to his now-wife, Gabi, and the video was filmed at their wedding. To date, the singer/songwriter has sold more than 3m albums and earned ACM, BMI, CMT and NSAI Awards
