Gothic pop songstress Kailee Morgue dropped a new video last week to accompany her latest single, “Siren.” Receiving co-directing credit on the video, the hands-on creative also played a role in set design, wardrobes, props and hiring a local video team from her hometown of Phoenix, AZ. “The video I shot for ‘Siren’ is the first music video that I completely thought up the concept for and directed myself,” said Morgue.
“Siren” premiered on BBC Radio 1’s Best New Pop and is a solid follow-up to 2017 breakout track “Medusa.” The 20-year-old, self-described “introvert” got her start on Soundcloud before her debut track peaked at #1 on HypeMachine, leading to her inking a deal with Republic last summer.
While Morgue prepares to release new music this fall, watch her vid for “Siren” below.
