WHAT IT IS: Parcels formed in 2014 during their last year of high school. After relocating from Byron Bay, Australia, to Berlin, they signed to indie label Kitsuné. Their unique mix of disco and funk, in combination with the five-part harmonies on first EP Hideout (2017), caught the attention of Daft Punk, leading to collaborative single “Overnight.” The song, which dropped in June 2017 and has since collected 18.1m listens on Spotify, reached #1 on iTunes’ Alt chart. They’re now working on their debut album, which will be followed by several headline and festival shows.
