WHAT IT IS: Pegged as one of the most mysterious men in music, Rayman has been praised for his genre-bending style, with the Bible hailing his ability to “fuse R&B swagger with hip-hop grit all while spinning compelling stories much like a country artist.” The arrival of five-track EP Courtney last November follows 2017’s R&B-leaning LP, Roadhouse 01, which focused on the artist’s dark alter-ego. Rayman’s racked up an impressive 70m+ streams on digital platforms since his first release and had one of the most-played songs on Alt radio in Canada in 2017 with track “13.” Currently, “13” can be heard throughout California as a sync for the California Lottery.
