WHAT IT IS: Stephanie Allen, aka Stefflon Don, first set the underground ablaze in 2015 with her take on Section Boyz’s street smash “Lock Arff.” Following the release of her latest mixtape, g, Steff solidified herself as one of the most electric and eclectic emerging acts for 2017. Since then, her horizons have expanded on a global scale. She’s been enlisted to work with some of the biggest artists in the world, such as Drake, Jax Jones, Popcaan, Demi Lovato and French Montana, and was featured on Lil Yachty’s latest album, Teenage Emotions. Steff is nominated for three MOBO Awards this year. Many consider her one of the most exciting exports to come out of the U.K., someone who is poised for real global stardom.
