WHAT IT IS: Wave One marks the debut of Cody Simpson and the Tide. Formed in Venice, California, the recently formed band—fronted by the Australian superstar—showcases a new rock/surf-pop sound. Simpson has stayed busy while developing this new project, playing for the Queen at Buckingham Palace earlier this year and serving as the face of BONDS for their Fall 2017 campaign, as well as being named the United Nations Development Program’s Ocean Ambassador.
