WHAT IT IS: Born in Kentucky’s bluegrass epicenter, Pearce began touring at age 11, and by 16 was a regular performer at Dollywood. Over the past eight years, she’s been on Nashville’s radar for her rich songwriting depth. Pearce has had more than 30 invites to the Grand Ole Opry. In 2016, she scored her first top 40 hit with “Wasn’t That Drunk,” with Josh Abbott Band. Wide Open Country has praised her “earthy, textured voice.” Nominated for Rising Independent Artist-Writer of the Year at the second annual Association of Independent Music Publishers Nashville Awards, she’s currently working on her debut LP with hit producer busbee.
