What It Is: MØ’s unique songwriting and vocal style have earned her the status of one of the pop world’s fastest-rising stars and the respect of its most influential producers and songwriters, including Diplo, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Charli XCX and more. Many already know MØ from her recent high-profile collaborations—most notably Major Lazer’s “Cold Water” and “Lean On,” which has more than 2 billion views on YouTube and is one of the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify—but her own singles have climbed the charts worldwide in the past year. And “Final Song” was certified gold in the U.S. in February. This Danish breakout star has returned with new single “Nights With You,” her first solo music release of 2017, which was produced by Blanco, Cashmere Cat and SOPHIE. Her second studio album will be released later this year.
