WHAT IT IS: This year started out in high gear for Ryan Kinder, who has been named a Country Artist to Watch by high-profile outlets. A gifted songwriter in his own right, he has co-written with some of Nashville’s most successful writers, including Ashley GorleyRoss CoppermanChris DeStefanoJosh OsborneTom Douglas and Jeremy Stover. He’s shared the stage with Tim McGrawLady AntebellumBilly CurringtonBrett EldredgeBrandy Clark and Zac Brown, who personally handpicked Kinder for his tour. Rolling Stone named him “the John Mayer of country music,” and included him as one of “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know.” Kinder says, “I just let the music do the talking.” He’s currently writing and recording his debut album with multi-award-winning songwriter/producer Ross Copperman and multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Paul Worley.
