WHAT IT IS: The most exciting new U.K. guitar band to burst through in ages is poised for a stateside breakthrough with new single “Soundcheck”—off the forthcoming Dave Sardy-produced album, due later this year. The band’s 2014 debut full-length, The Balcony, is headed toward platinum status in the U.K. They snagged the BBC Music award for Best Newcomer in 2014 and received the 2016 BRIT award for Best British Breakthrough Act. Having toured the U.K. and U.S. extensively, including main-stage plays at Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds fests, the band will continue to win over audiences with their electrifying live show in 2016.
