Oooooooooh, baby! Turn it up to 11 for "Drive," by L.A.'s own Pretty Sister. A real panty-dropper, this earworm's arguably #1 in my book for the song of summer 2016. I know it's early, but after that first play, I've already removed two articles of clothing; I'll leave which ones up to the imagination.
Pretty Sister's genre is described as "Z-Funk," a hat-tip to '90s G-Funk and reference to dopamine elevator Zak Waters. Watch this space for updates on the promising, currently unsigned newcomer.
I'll leave you with Waters' own words: "hands up, radio on, singin' every word to a Tupac song."
xx,
Samantha Hissong
