NEWS FROM AMUSE
1/15/16

Amuse, Inc.—one of Japan's largest entertainment companies—recently announced the launch of Amuse Group USA thanks to a new partnership with L.A.-based company 4 SOUND, which provides artist management, development and production services. It's important to note that the latter has a particularly heightened interest in artist integration and branding in the Asian market.

Amuse, Inc., which raked in more than $328m in sales last year alone, offers an array of services from artist management, marketing and promotion to event planning to TV, film and musical production. Their roster features some of the area's top artists, namely BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Perfume and more. For perspective, those acts have 122m, 255m and 122m YouTube views, respectively (Translation: They're big).

4 SOUND founder and industry vet Jonnie Forster (pictured with Amuse's Rumiko Ichige and Tatsuro Hatanka) explained that he was "extremely fascinated by Amuse’s diversified business model."

"In partnering with Amuse, the artists we put through our venture will have ample resources for domestic A&R, marketing, and promotion as well as one of the most revered teams in Asia guiding their careers abroad," he added.

In celebration, we've been moshing to this BABYMETAL video, which has been on repeat for the last hour. Throw some goat!
