WHAT IT IS: The Toronto-born singer/songwriter/producer is a triple-threat and then some. The prowess of his playful genre-blurring productions is matched by his infectious lyrics and sultry vocals. Described by many premiere media outlets as “the next in the list of big names to come from Canada,” Jahkoy has expertly crafted a collision between R&B and electronic-house, which sets the tone for what he’s penned as his signature “bipolar sound.” Most recently, the rising newcomer released two singles that stormed to #1 on HypeMachine and received support from Zane Lowe and Pharrell Williams on Beats 1.
