WHAT IT IS: The songstress’ five-song EP features her latest single, “Next Boyfriend,” the ESPN-exclusive track “History,” plus three more tracks, all co-written by the young star. A Georgia native, she originally captured America’s hearts when she appeared on Season 10 of American Idol. Since then, she released her first album, Wildflower—which debuted at #1. She’s also been nominated for several Teen Choice and CMT Music Awards, and has toured with superstars, including Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson and Sugarland. She’s an Ambassador for the Special Olympics and released her version of “Grown Up Christmas List” as a part of their A Very Special Christmas album series. This summer, she ran in the first-ever Special Olympics Unified Relay Across America, where the Flame of Hope made its way from Athens to the Opening Ceremony of the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in L.A. She regularly appears on the Grand Ole Opry and is one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country.”
