THE B-SIDE
DISCOVERY: LUNA AURA
8/19/15

Introducing Luna Aura, a 22-year-old electro-pop vocalist who hails from Phoenix, Arizona and was more likely than not an alien princess in a past life.

I recently caught a glimpse of her musical hypnosis at Sayer's Club in Hollywood, and this week, she dropped the video for her latest single, "Dancing With Your Ghost."

The song pays homage to her younger brother, who unfortunately and unexpectedly died earlier this year. Like the light of the moon, it shines bright enough to light up the darkness of loss and loneliness. Yea, I know... I have a heart. Shocking.

Anyways, her music, much like the night sky in general, is expansive and easy to get lost in, decorated with twinkling synths instead of stars. It also provides the perfect backdrop for carefree escapades and indulgences.

So go on, get lost and hit the roller disco in the playful vid below. Be sure to leave your troubles with your shoes.

xx, Samantha Hissong

P.S. If you happen to find yourself in AZ on 8/29, hit up the release party for her EP, Supernova, which streeted 8/7. The bash takes place at Livewire in Scottsdale on 8/29. Buy tix here.
