Coeur de Pirate, aka Montreal-based singer/songwriter Beatrice Martin, has inked with Martin Kierszenbaum's Cherrytree Records, it was announced today.

"Carry On," the lead single from her upcoming full-length, is currently #1 at radio in Quebec. Watch its corresponding video, which is both dark and evocative, below. The clip features a passionate modern dance routine that is sure to hold your gaze.

The album, to be released on Cherrytree on 8/28, currently has more pre-orders than The Weeknd in Canada, which may give an inkling of her potential.
