WHAT IT IS: As part of the chart-topping pop group The Wanted, Sykes has sold 11m+ records worldwide, appearing on some of the biggest TV shows in the world and collecting awards along the way. He’s preparing to release his debut solo single this spring/summer, followed by the release of an album later in the year. The album was written and recorded in the U.K. and U.S., collaborating with Harmony Samuels, Ldn Noise, Babyface and Diane Warren. For a sneak peek, he released “More Than You’ll Ever Know” as a free track to his fans on 3/5; it received rave reviews on both sides of the pond from fans and press alike. The second phase of the campaign began in April with a sold-out U.K. headline tour, a guest performance with Meghan Trainor at her Birmingham show and the announcement of his first official single, “Kiss Me Quick.”
