So, I may have fallen in love while watching I.R.S Nashville’s soulful singer, Marc Scibilia, perform at the Troubadour last night. He controlled the room with a voice so powerful and songs so catchy, that nothing could stop this awkward Jewish girl from dancing. My apologies to all who witnessed.
Standouts included latest single "Wide Open Arms" and my personal favorite, “How Bad We Need Each Other" (above). Biz luminaries spotted in the crowd included I.R.S Nashville prexy John Grady, Capitol luminaries Ambrosia Healy, Juliana Plotkin, VP Adult Promotion Patty Morris and Sr Director Adult Promotion Alex Coronfly, Scibilia's manager, John Hamlin, and producer, Butch Walker.
Pack your bags and prepare to follow him on his upcoming North American tour dates supporting Steve Winwood and James Bay. Luckily for you, his cover of “This Land Is Your Land” (above), featured in a 90-second spot for the new 2015 Jeep Renegade, will be the perfect soundtrack for your road trip.
