of Verona, managed by De Novo Music Management and currently unsigned, describe their sound as "Futuristic, Electro Indie, Alt Pop," and that pretty much hits the nail on the head. It's at times a little dark and mysterious and at other times vivaciously pulsating.

Imagine that Neo took the blue pill and it just turned out to be some extremely potent dosage of MDMA, but he still got to stay within the realm of the Matrix. He'd just defy gravity with a little more exuberance and wonder. That's the kind of vibe they impress on me.

Yes, I just compared their music to taking ecstasy in the Matrix, but considering that the band lists their hometown as "among the Stars, in between Venus and Mars," I have a feeling they wouldn't obect.

Hallucinagetic comparisons aside, it's all quite catchy. The radio edit of "Dark in My Imagination" was released in February, quickly earned 815k+ plays on SoundCloud and hit #1 on HypeMachine.

Follow-up "Stay Gold" dropped in March and also topped HypeMachine. They released their newest track, "Oblivion," yesterday, so be sure to check out its video above.

If that's not enough to covert you, they’ve also had at least 10 television syncs in the past year on shows including Grimm, Grey’s Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Teen Wolf and Stalker. Seems like they're doing something right.
