WHAT IT IS: The Jamaican-bred singer/songwriter met massive international success following Felix Jaehn’s tropical house remix of “Cheerleader” in 2014. The single reached #1 in Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands, while charting in the iTunes Top 10 in 29 countries. OMI is in process of recording his debut album, based on inspiration from greats such as Nat King Cole, John Legend and Tanya Stephens and driven by his fluid vocal delivery and contemporary songwriting skills.
