BØRNS (Interscope)
3/14/15

WHAT IT IS: Growing up in coastal Michigan, Garrett Borns has been moving from one inspiration to another. His first love was the visual arts, followed by music, thanks to an eccentric piano teacher. Playing local gigs through high school and college, Garrett, aka BØRNS, ended up in a secluded tree-house home in a Los Angeles canyon. Feeling a rebirth of inspiration, he wrote all the songs that appear on his debut EP, providing a dreamy blend of folk, glam and electro rock that sounds like it comes straight from the cosmos.
