WHAT IT IS: This 22-year-old singer/songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist will make her full-length album debut this spring. She co-wrote lead single “Nobody Love” alongside Max Martin and Rickard Goransson. 2015 has already brought tremendous success, as she’s been named an iHeartRadio On the Verge artist, USA Today’s Artist to Watch and March’s VH1 You Oughta Know artist. The album, she says, does not depart from her soulful roots. “It’s like a marriage between that soulful, urban thing and a mainstream pop vibe. It was hard to get to that place, but once we had ‘Nobody Love,’ I knew we’d cracked the code. It felt seamless.”
