You’re kiiiiilling me, Bad Veins… with “Kindness” that is. Keep an ear to the ground, tastemakers. Cincinatti-based Bad Veins are back in action with a brand-new single, “Kindness,” a well-crafted pop tune with a strong build, a tasty hook and a sparkling, almost spacey quality. The vibe sort of reminds me of a blend between Cherub and Somekindawonderful, so expect to hear more from them soon.
The alternative electro-pop duo, comprised of Ben Davis and drummer Jake Bonta, have previously toured with numerous dance-inducing troubadours and earworm generators, including Walk the Moon, Two Door Cinema Club and more. They just inked a deal with Dynamite (also home to Ryan Cabrera) and are set to release their first album in three years. You can get your grubby paws on The Mess Re-Made come March. I gotta feeling it’ll be one hot mess.
