Sony Music Publishing's hot streak continued at the 2024 SESAC Music Awards, where the company was named Publisher of the Year for a third straight year.
Jack Harlow also took home Songwriter of the Year for the fourth consecutive time at the event, which was held 9/17 in Los Angeles. The Range-repped rapper also won Song of the Year for "Lovin on Me."
“We are thrilled to be recognized as Publisher of the Year for the third year in a row, and to celebrate the incredible achievements of SMP songwriters," SMP EVP, Head of A&R Walter Jones said. "This award would not be possible without our songwriters, who keep us all going. I want to thank our hard-working team, and SESAC for this important honor. Congratulations, everyone!”
SMP songwriters also took home honors for such songs as “Good Good” by Usher and Summer Walker; “3D” by Jung Kook and Harlow; “Not the 1975” by The Kooks; and SZA’s “Used," while writers Dahi, Knox Morris, Melvin Hough and Rivelino Woulter were also recognized.
Seen above in all their glory are SESAC’s Sam Kling, SESAC’s Diana Akin Scarfo, SMP’s Ari Gelaw, Jones, SMP’s Adam Ikner, SMP’s Mya Hansen, SMP’s Lauren Munroe, SESAC’s Scott Jungmichel and SESAC’s Mario Prins.
