UMPG, in partnership with Electric Feel Ent., has inked indie-folk singer-songwriter Shaya Zamora.
The Washington native, who began releasing new music last summer, made his major label debut with EP, Eulogize (Atlantic), at the top of this year. The five-song set garnered nearly 70m streams and features his breakout track “Cigarette,” which served as a proper introduction to the up-and-comer.
In spring, he followed up with “Pretty Little Devil,” which generated 200k+ video creations and 430m+ views on TikTok alone. Most recently, he released “Sinner,” and is currently gearing up for more new music soon.
Pictured above are (l-) Hyphen Media Group’s Matthew Reed, EF’s Avi Hirsh, Zamora, UMPG’s Deeba Abrishamchi, Mad Jack Management’s Devin Poindexter and EF’s Leo Katz. Not pictured is UMPG’s Roxy King, who had an inkling this photo would somehow end up in our inbox.
