RANGE REELS IN SEAN COOK
3/4/24

Range Music Publishing has signed songwriter/producer Sean Cook, who is behind Paul Russell’s recent top 5 multi-format hit “Lil Boo Thang” (Arista). Cook and Russell are at work on the latter’s next album.

Cook is also a frequent collaborator with eclectic artist Shaboozey and co-wrote/co-produced the latter’s recent singles “Let It Burn” and “Anabelle.”

The deal is a partnership between Range and Warner Chappell Music, whose Rich Christina and Katy Wolaver helped push it through. Range’s new publishing division is led by former Big Deal Music Group Co-President and Partner Casey Robison, who oversaw the Cook signing with VP of A&R Sam Drake. Cook is co-managed by Jeremy Skaller and Range's Jared Cotter, the latter of whom also manages Russell and Shaboozey.

Pictured shortly after mass-deleting all emails from HITS are (l-r) Wolaver, Christina, Cook, Drake and Robison.
