Barry Weiss has rechristened his TwentySeven Music Publishing venture Bossy Songs and is launching it anew in partnership with Sony Music Publishing.
Bossy's first signing is songwriter-producer Dan Gleyzer, whose credits include BTS' "Yet To Come," CIL's "One More Shot" and tracks by Meghan Trainor, Natalie Jane, Grace Vanderwaal and AJ Mitchell.
Bossy will also be home to such writers and producers as Michael Sonier, Cody Tarpley and IDA, who've collectively worked with Maggie Rogers, Megan Thee Stallion, Alan Walker and Sigala, among others.
Says Weiss, who is also the CEO and co-founder of RECORDS and RECORDS Nashville, "We are thrilled to be launching Bossy Songs to help bolster some of the incredible songwriters working across the music spectrum today. With our partners at Sony Music Publishing, we're excited to move forward in working with a diverse range of songwriters and producers and support their creative visions. Dan Gleyzer's outstanding musical skill set exemplifies the genre-spanning talent that the team at Bossy Songs are looking forward to collaborating with and introducing to music fans and artists alike."
