Hit songwriter Lindgren (Michel Schulz) has renewed his agreement with Sony Music Publishing in tandem with a new partnership with hitmaker Ryan Tedder. The creators began working together at the outset of the pandemic and most recently collaborated on BLACKPINK’s “The Girls.”
Lindgren’s prior credits include BTS’ “On” featuring Sia and “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey, Dua Lipa’s “Good in Bed” and JIHYO’s “Killin’ Me Good.” He says of Tedder, “Ryan is the first songwriter of whom I was a fan. I remember being in high school and learning about the fact that people wrote songs for artists because of Ryan’s involvement in hits at the time.”
Adds SMP VP/creative Nick Bral, “Ryan has been an advocate for Lindgren for some time now and we are so happy to be in partnership with him on this as we move into this next chapter.”
