NOW WHAT?
We have no fucking idea.
COUNTRY'S NEWEST DISRUPTOR
Three chords and some truth you may not be ready for.
AI IS ALREADY EATING YOUR LUNCH
The kids can tell the difference... for now.
WHO'S BUYING THE DRINKS?
That's what we'd like to know.

Sony Pub U.K. is getting into the Pablo Bowman Navarro business, inking a global publishing deal with Chumba Music for ASCAP London’s newly crowned Songwriter of the Year. The deal was shepherded by SMP U.K.’s senior director of A&R, Saul Fitton. Seen toasting the deal with some bubbly just prior to a delicious repast of mushy peas are (l-r) writer-producer Rick Boardman, Fitton, Navarro and managers Holly Lintel and Will Gresford.
A key member of the U.K. songwriting collective The Six, Navarro most recently penned the chart-topping Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding collab “Miracle,” which sat at #1 in Blighty for eight weeks. Of late he’s been in the studio with J Balvin and Tainy, and has also collaborated with Marshmello, Ava Max, Kid Cudi, Channel Tres, Bebe Rexha and Mimi Webb.
Founded in 2015 by Jason Evigan, Chumba Music is home to Gian Stone, Castle, GRACEY and Lionel Crasta, among others. “The moment I met Pablo I knew he was special,” reads a quote from Evigan. “He brings such a unique, left-of-center approach to his writing, and always comes at it from an artist’s lens.”
“This collaboration feels seamlessly natural,” adds Navarro. “I feel so creatively inspired and understood. I am extremely excited for the future!”
We, too, feel extremely excited for the future, as naptime is always on the horizon.
