Ryan Press has promoted two of his A&R execs at Warner Chappell Music: Wallace Joseph is now SVP, A&R, and Jon Chen has his vice president stripes.

Press, WCM’s president, North America, has charged them with expanding WCM’s business and its talent roster.

“A&R is all about following your instincts and being deeply ingrained in the culture, areas where both Wallace and Jon excel,” Press said. “They go above and beyond for our team and our songwriters, and they’re masters at connecting talent with other music creators—not just here in the U.S., but all around the world.”

Joseph works with Summer Walker, Wale, Ari Lennox, JetsonMade, Tay Keith, TooDope! and many others. He serves as A&R to producer-singer Elliott Trent and producer Yeti Beats, and works with record label LVRN. Prior to joining WCM, Joseph ran a music management company, HMWRK.

Chen supports an array of talent including Ian Kirkpatrick, Benson Boone, BEAM, Sir Nolan and Baby Fisher, among others.
