AIMP JOINS THE HUMAN ARTISTRY CAMPAIGN

AIMP is now among 80+ companies and organizations who have signed the Human Artistry Campaign’s petition to support human creativity amid the growth of AI.

AIMP National Chair/N.Y. Chapter President Michael Lau, L.A. Chapter President Marc Caruso, Nashville Chapter President Ree Guyer and Atlanta Chapter President Tony D. Alexander have issued the below joint statement on the decision:

“We agree wholeheartedly with the Human Artistry Campaign’s Core Principles for Artificial Intelligence Applications and are pleased to see so many other organizations pledging their support. Independent music publishers recognize the value of AI as a tool to inspire and speed up human creativity, but maintaining that human element is of the utmost importance. By adhering to these principles, we can create a framework in which artists can harness the potential of AI without being supplanted by it. We encourage all independent publishers, songwriters, and rightsholders to sign the petition as well, and more importantly, abide by its principles.”
