CCC REVEALS NEW OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The California Copyright Conference has announced the officers and Board of Directors for its 2022–2023 season.

Renee Jeske, Manager, Income Tracking, Disney Music Group, will be the new President, while Sabrina Ment, VP, Business & Legal Affairs, Music, Disney General Entertainment, will serve as VP and Paula Savastano, Senior Director, Copyright and Royalties, Angry Mob Music Group, will be Treasurer.

Music Publishing and Licensing Consultant Jean Montiel will also be Secretary for another year as Dana Childs, Managing Director, Sound as a Pound, will be Assistant Secretary. The officers are long-time members of the CCC Board of Director.

Additionally, Board Members who have been re-elected include BMG Manager of Copyright Administration Carolyn Soyars, The MLC Director of DSP Audits Jane Bushmaker, Music Industry Consultant Cheryl Dickerson, BMI Creative Director David Streit and Sound Royalties Director of Music Royalty Funding Reggie Calloway.

Newly elected to the Board is Alexandra Guzman, Film & Television Manager, SESAC; Roxanne Castillo, Attorney, Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund; and Sarah Brockman, Music Clearance and Administration Consultant.

Serving their second Board of Directors terms will be Elizabeth Henderson, Senior Manager, Synch Clearance, WCM; Jonathan Lane, Senior Director, Synch & Licensing, 5 Alarm Music/Music Supervisor, Cleary Music Services; and Kristina Benson, Founder, Sweet on Top.

First alternate is Debra Delshad, Senior Director, Synch & Music Licensing, Angry Mob Music Group, and Kenneth Freundlich, Attorney, Freundlich Law, will be the second alternate.

Established in 1953, CCC was created to discuss copyright-related areas pertaining to music and entertainment with seven founding members and today, the organization has grown to over 300 members globally.
