Warner Chappell Music and Unknown Music Publishing have inked Sophia Scott to a global pub deal.
Having built a following with tracks like “Side Effects,” “White Fence,” “Drink Too Much Wine” and “She Ain’t Me,” the latter of which amassed 12m+ Spotify streams, Scott signed to EMPIRE Nashville in 2021 and has since opened for the Jonas Brothers and Kelsea Ballerini on the Remember This Tour.
“Not only do I get to work with the best publisher in Nashville, but I also get to work with one of my biggest songwriting heroes, Ross Golan,” said Scott. “Thank you to BJ [Hill], Ross, Kelley [Fox], and everyone at Warner Chappell & Unknown Music for believing in me.”
"Sophia Scott is one of the most authentic, exciting, and refreshing artists I've ever come across,” shared Golan. “I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Sophia to the family.”
“We are very lucky to be working with her, Unknown Music, and her awesome team,” added WCM VP of A&R, Hill.
Scott, who dropped her latest single "One of These Days" on 3/17, will release her forthcoming project later this year and is set to perform on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday (4/4).
