ACRYLIC LABEL HEADS TO SXSW

Acrylic Label, in collaboration with Downtown Music Services, is heading to its first 2022 SXSW showcase, Active Kitchens. Featuring a roster of lo-fi artists like Tomppabeats, Jinsang, URCHN, Palmasur, Orestes Gomez, Corduroy Egg and Kansado, the set takes place on 3/17 from 8pm-2am at Houseparty.

In addition to their SXSW debut, Acrylic Label is launching a publishing arm, Acrylic Songs, which brings on César Mathieu as the new Head of Publishing. He joins the company with nearly ten years of experience working across the biz.

Lofi is just one of the new exciting lenses through which we are seeing eroding genres resurface and, as major publishers begin to see the value of lofi as a vector for catalog marketing, we are excited to see how our creators can reasonably license and exploit original samples in their work,” said Acrylic Label Co-Founder/GM Jeremy Da.

Since its launch in 2020 by Da and Clint Choi, Acrylic Label has amassed 75m+ global streams across 145 releases.
