UMPG has inked British composer/producer Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, to an exclusive global publishing deal.
The electronic act—who founded Text Records—has released 11 studio albums throughout his 20+ year career, including New Energy, There is Love in You, Round and Sixteen Oceans.
Having collaborated with the likes of Steve Reid and MC Madlib, Four Tet has also done remixes for Rihanna, Tame Impala, Headie One, The XX, Radiohead, Aphex Twin and more.
Additionaly, his catalogue includes the Nelly Furtado-sampling hit “Only Human,” and 2008’s David Arnold collaboration “Crawl, End Crawl,” which served as the clothing theme to Quantum of Solace.
“Four Tet has soundtracked my life from GCSE revision to dancefloors at University and now I get the pleasure to work with him,” said UMPG’s Director of A&R Pete Simmons. “Looking forward to working with Kieran, Carol and the wider Solar team. Special thanks to Amy Samson for making the initial introduction.”
