PRIMARY WAVE’S DIVINE ACQUISITION
1/5/22

Primary Wave Music has acquired a stake in the income stream of Christian singer/songwriter Matt Redman’s music publishing catalog.

The deal also encompasses master royalties and other rights from Redman’s entire catalog, including classics like “Build My Life,” “Do It Again,” Grammy-nominated “Our God” and 2x platinum “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord),” which earned two Grammys and spent 16 weeks atop Christian Radio as well as 13 weeks at #1 on the Christian Songs chart.

"I’m so grateful for this new partnership with Primary Wave, and their passion to get behind these songs in a new way,” said Redman. “They have such a standout reputation across so many genres, so I’m excited to see what lies ahead.”

“Matt Redman’s songs mean so much to so many people and are truly timeless,” added Dominic Pandiscia, Chief Strategy Officer of Gaither Music Group & Primary Wave Business Development. “It’s truly an honor to partner with him and his catalog.”

The accusation was negotiated by Nicholas Brown of London & Co and Roxwell’s Jeremy Rosen on behalf of Redman and strengthens Primary Wave’s position in the faith-based market following a partnership with Gaither Music Group in 2019.

Throughout his career, Redman has accumulated 500m on-demand streams, performed in venues like Madison Square Garden, Wembley stadium and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as earned 13 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, among other accolades.
