3V’S SEAN LEON & ERICK SERNA INK WITH SMP
12/6/21

3V Method has partnered with Sony Music Publishing to ink pub deals for Sean Leon and Erick Serna.

Best known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s 2x RIAA platinum-certified “Peaches” f/Daniel Caesar & GIVEON, Leon also worked with Ye on 2019’s Grammy-winning Jesus Is King. He recently launched PUPIL, a creation company focused on ethical development, design and distribution.

“I’m so grateful to have Sony in my corner and I’m excited to make history together,” shared Leon. “Sean is a true artist through and through,” added 3V Method CEO Alex Valenti. “I am excited to have [SMP's] Katie Welle and Will Skalmoski as key members of this team.”

Serna, who inked his deal in partnership with Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Jesse Shatkin, is also known for collaborating with the likes Dan Nigro (DNCE, Sia, Kelly Clarkson), as well as his instrumental work for Olivia Rodrigo.

On joining SMP, Serna said, “I had the fortune of being brought on by my longtime friend, mentor, and collaborator, Jesse Shatkin. And with my dream team at the helm consisting of Amanda Hill, Sam Reas and Thomas Krottinger, I’m beyond excited for what the future holds.”

“Erick’s ability to be a swiss army knife and occupy any creative role within each writing session is what truly sets him apart,” shared 3V Method GM Justin Garza. “His extensive experience as a team player coming from a band background makes him a key asset to any room,” added Valenti.
