CCC REVEALS NEW OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The California Copyright Conference has announced their newly elected Officers and Board of Directors for the upcoming 2021–2022 season.

Mara Kuge, President/Founder of Superior Music Corporation, will be the new President, while Renee Jeske, Manager, Income Tracking, Disney Music Group, will serve as VP and Cheryl Dickerson, Music Industry Consultant, will be Treasurer.

Music Publishing and Licensing Consultant Jean Montiel will also be the new Secretary as Rene Merideth, Co-Founder/COO of Exploration, will be Assistant Secretary. The new officers are long-time members of the CCC Board of Director.

Additionally, Board Members who have been re-elected include Warner Chappell’s Senior Manager of Sync Clearance Elizabeth Henderson, Star Vibe Group’s Chief Creative Officer Sherry Orson, Chicago Music Library’s EVP Marrsha Sill and Atrium Music’s CEO Josh Young.

Newly elected to the Board is Jonathan Lane, Senior Director, Synch & Licensing, 5 Alarm Music; Music & Supervisor, Tapestry Music Services.

Serving their second Board of Directors terms will be Jane Bushmaker, Director, Royalty Audit & Contract Compliance, Prager Metis CPAs, Reggie Calloway, Director Music Royalty Funding, Sound Royalties, Dana Childs, Music Business & Operations Lead, HiFi Productions, Sabrina Ment, VP, Business & Legal Affairs, Music, Walt Disney Television, Paula Savastano, Senior Director, Copyright & Royalties, Angry Mob Music and Carolyn Soyars, Manager, Copyright Administration, BMG.

First alternate will be BMI’s Creative Director, David Streit, and newly elected Kristina Benson, Founder of Sweet on Top, will be the second alternate.

Established in 1953, CCC was created to discuss copyright-related areas pertaining to music and entertainment with seven founding members and today, the organization has grown to over 300 members globally.
